ST failed to “demolish” us.

They claimed they were twice as big as us, then they showed a picture of us stacking at the dock preparing to bomb.

I think this is enough proof — the Shadow Troops were not 2x bigger than us, nor did them completely blow us to pieces. They had a couple troops more than us, but that does not mean that they won. It takes more than a 2 people difference to win.
